Frequently Asked Questions

If you have any questions about the park or your stay - we may have covered them here! If not - please feel free to get in touch using the form at the bottom of the page.

How do we make a reservation?

Reservations can made directly through the Hoseasons website on behalf of Angrove Country Park. Or pop into reception and we can make a booking for you there.

What time can I check in or check out?

The lodges will be available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and check-in closes at 6:00pm. If you are going to arrive later than this, just give us a call to let us know and we can make arrangements - it won’t be a problem.

Check out by 10:00am and Reception will be open from 8.00am to receive keys on the morning of your departure. If you need to leave any earlier, let us know in advance and we can let you know where to drop the key.

Can a stag/hen party or single-sex group stay?

We do not accept bookings for stag and hen parties - without exception.

The park management will ask people to leave if there are reports of noise or unsociable behaviour or they become aware that people are staying on a hen or stag party. No refund will be given should this happen.

Are the holiday lodges open throughout the year?

The Park is open every day, all year round. There may be occasions when the G & Tea House is not open, in particular; Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Do I need to bring bed linen or towels?

Bed linen, towels and robes are included in the price of your stay with us, with all beds made up ready for your arrival. Longer stays (over 4 nights) will be offered a change of linen during their stay. If you have asked for a travel cot, please make sure to bring your own bedding. If you want different towels to use in the hot tub, please bring them with you.

What else do you provide?

All our lodges are self-catering and kitted out to help make your holiday feel a home from home. The kitchens in all the lodges are fully integrated and have ovens, hobs, fridge freezers, dishwashers, washing machine (except Wren) and microwave ovens. We will put some toilet rolls in the lodge for your arrival which should last a short stay.

What supplies are available at the Park?

We offer a number of different ‘bundles’ that can be ready for you in your lodge for when you arrive or collected from reception at your convenience. You can see what's available on our packages page - and please note that these should be booked in advance. The G & Tea House also serves hot and cold food throughout the day which can be also be ordered to take back to your lodge including breakfasts, lunch, snacks and cakes.

Are there BBQ facilities?

Each lodge has a patio area for BBQ’ing. We have a limited number of BBQ’s to hire which include tools and charcoal in the hire price. We cannot allow any BBQ’ing on the decking areas as this can cause damage to the deck from the hot coals and the heat of cooking. Please do not bring your own BBQ.

We do not allow any chimneas, wood burning stoves or open fires anywhere on the park.

Do you accept pets?

Yes, terms and conditions apply - for full details please read our Pets Policy.

How accessible is the Park?

The main reception building, parking facilities and surrounding areas are all accessible. The central reception building has ramp access, an accessible toilet and large print forms and menus. We currently don’t have any specifically accessible lodges - however, we do hope to by 2019. We welcome guide dogs and assistance dogs in all lodges and facilities.

Please be advised that while all lodges are single story with no internal stairs, they all have 3-5 standard sized steps up to them with handrails.

Is smoking permitted?

All our lodges are also non-smoking, this applies to e-cigarettes as well.

Is there Wi-Fi or an internet connection available?

Yes, we have super-fast broadband at the Park and Wi-Fi is available in all the lodges - and G&Tea House.

Will my mobile phone work?

Yes, your mobile phone should work as there is a good 3G-4G signal around the park.

What kind of wildlife do you have on or around the park?

Angrove Country Park is in a beautiful rural setting, therefore, please expect to meet wildlife of all sizes and varieties! It will not be unusual for you to see barn owls, birds of prey, pheasants, hares and rabbits. We also have the animals of the smaller variety (spiders!) - most of which much prefer to be outside, so please in the unlikely event of one following you inside, just open the window, so they can get out!

What rules does the park have about noise?

Our Park is in a quiet, rural setting and offers tranquility and respite away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. We ask that all guests are mindful of others staying at the park and do not act or behave in a way that affects other people.

Between the hours of 10.30 pm and 9.00 am we kindly request that guest activities are such that they do not affect their neighbours. We have no rules about what time the hot tubs cannot be used however we do ask that whenever you use them you keep the noise to a minimum and there is no noise at all after 10.30pm. Remember that voices and other noises carry further in the countryside, particularly when there is no other traffic or background noise.

Will the hot tub be ready to use when we arrive?

We work hard on changeover days to have all our hot tubs emptied, cleaned, refilled and reheated ready for guests to use when they arrive. Sometimes this can take longer than expected and it may be that your hot tub might not be ready to use during the first few hours after check-in - however, it is our aim to do everything possible for this not the case.

Do you provide separate towels to use with the hot tub?

No, please bring your own towels for use in the hot tubs.

Can I make a supermarket delivery?

Supermarket deliveries cannot be made to the Park. We have no facilities to take delivery of any orders should something prevent you from arriving on time to meet the delivery van. We also do not allow delivery vans or the general public into the area where our rental lodges are placed so they would not be able to take it to your lodge.
